A gorgeous oxblood coral bead necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era!?This lovely necklace is comprised of a single strand of graduated oxblood coral beads, which are hand strung and knotted on deep red thread. Each natural and undyed bead has a smoothly polished surface and displays a spectacular, rich red color. The graduated beads meet at a 14k gold push clasp, which is hidden in a large coral bead, in the back for a secure closure. Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 19 3/4" in length. The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 7mm long and is approximately 7.8mm thick. The smallest bead measures 3.7mm long and 4.1mm thick. The clasp bead measures 8.8mm thick.
Condition:?The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to any of the beads, which are all?intact and securely strung. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
